At DAKEE we have demonstrated a proven ability to tailor these services to address the unique requirements of each project.
In the execution of projects we are meticulous with all aspects of the construction and particularly attentive to job specifications. It is our policy to follow safe work procedure, making sure there is no negative effect on the environment as a result of our on-site activities.
We have in our portfolio, three major IPP project, three different sizes of gas fired turbine generators ranging from 350-450MWs. We are currently in the bid for a green field 120 MW coal fired turbine generators to be located in Kogi State.
DAKEE Generator Repair
We provide comprehensive refurbishment and repair of large utility and industries generators stators and fields, and high-voltage bushing refurbishment. We provide turnkey overhaul of water, hydrogen and conventionally cooled utility generators up to 240MW.
DAKEE Power Generation
DAKEE Limited in collaboration with its foreign associates has experience in all types of power generating technology, we designed 2nos 12 MW diesel power generating stations as back-up power source for Lagos. For Shetsco Shed FCT, we engineered a 45MW captive power station. We have recently commissioned for GZ industries, Agbara, a State of the art, gas fired turbine generators for their 4MW power plant.

Power Transmission and Distribution
DAKEE has performed in a variety of urban and rural electrical engineering projects from 330KV transmission lines to 415KV distribution networks. We have undertaken power distribution planning studies for PHCN for the towns of Kano, Enugu, Aba and Warri.
Associated with the transmission lines are various capacities of substations ranging from 33KV to 330KV which we engineered. Some of these substations have transformers whose capacities are up to 150MVA 330/132/33KV. We carried out Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for Kano-Dakata, Kumbotso, Jos, Pankshin, Ibadan North, and Aiyede Substations, and some associated transmission lines for NEPA/ The lines ranges from 330 – 132 KV while the S/S ranges from 60-150MVA capacities, we have been involved in all the bids of PHCN for the engineering of combined cycle thermal power plants for Alooji. Omotosho, Geregu and Papalanto.
